PowerPoint Project

Webbed Exercise CA-2

The purpose of this exercise is to develop and deploy a PowerPoint presentation that can be used for the purpose of education and entertainment.

You will develop a presentation that anyone with limited computer skills and the ability to read can use.

The topic is biblical trivia.

You will develop 10-15 questions with at least 3 multiple choice answers.  An explanation should be provided for wrong answers and navigation back to the questions.   Correct answers should route the user to the next question.  An opportunity to quit or go back to the main menu should be provided with each new question.

Questions need not be too difficult, but they should provide some challenge for younger students.

A sample question and answer tree might be:

This question based on the KJV

What is the name of the son of Zacharias in Luke chapter 1?

 a)      James- No, there is more than one James, but none was Zacharias’ son.

b)      John – Yes, Zacharias was the father of John the Baptist

c)      Bartholomew - No, but he was an apostle.

Since names differ some between versions, note which translation you use.

Zechariah is used in place of Zacharias in the NIV.  One way to avoid confusion are questions that do not rely on specific proper names.

Some humor is permissible, but remember to be respectful considering the topic.

Use clipart or photos from the free websites (be sure to check copyright) that were provided for the website project. Make sure they are clear, pleasant and appropriate.

Read the help topic on navigation and action buttons in PowerPoint help section.

Points will be deducted for copyrighted images, poor quality images, non-functioning links, plagiarized or incorrect answers or explanations.  You must have 15 questions to receive an A. All instructions must be followed to receive an A.
